The PHILIPS MASTER PL-L 24 W compact fluorescent lamp (colour code 865) is a low-energy lamp with a long, two parallel tubes tube and a 2G11 base. It emits daylight light at 6,500 K and about 1,800 lumens, with good colour rendering (CRI 82).
A non-integrated lamp (no built-in ballast), it fits 2G11 CFL luminaires and runs at 230 V through the fitting's ballast: 4-pin (electronic HF ballast, dimmable). Its long life (≈10,000 h) and low consumption make it an economical choice for commercial lighting.

Is it compatible with my fitting?
Yes, if the fitting has a 2G11 base, the same wattage (24 W) and the right ballast. This is a non-integrated lamp: it needs the fitting's ballast and does not connect directly to the mains.
What is the difference between 2-pin and 4-pin?
The 2-pin version has a built-in starter and runs on a magnetic ballast. The 4-pin version runs on a high-frequency electronic ballast (fast start, flicker-free, often dimmable). Bases differ: match the one in your fitting.
What does the 865 code mean?
The first digit (8) indicates a CRI of 80 to 89; the next two give the colour temperature: 865 = 6,500 K (daylight).
How is it recycled?
Like all fluorescent tubes, it contains a small amount of mercury: take it to a WEEE collection point (recycling centre or store), never with household waste.
