The OSRAM Lumilux T5 mini fluorescent tubes (16mm diameter, G5 base), of short length, are available at 4W, 6W and 8W and in several colour temperatures (640 standard cool white, 840 neutral white). This compact format is ideal for lighting furniture, shop displays, illuminated signs and small fixtures needing a low-profile tube. The 640 (cool white) code was the historical standard for many illuminated signs before the more neutral 840 became widespread.
