Cold light sources and optical instruments
OSRAM Xenophot halogen lamps and the reflector lamps used in fibre-optic light sources, magnifiers and measuring instruments. Mind the voltage: a 15 V lamp does not replace a 12 V one.

Fluorescence microscopy
The OSRAM HBO 103W/2 short-arc mercury lamp, fitted in the lamp housings of fluorescence microscopes.
UV-C lamps for laboratories

The manufacturer reference
Printed on the glass or the base, or given in the instrument's manual: 64634 HLX, HBO 103W/2, TUV 8W…
The EAN
The 13 digits under the barcode on the original box: the most reliable identifier.
A photo
Of the markings and the base, or of the instrument and its rating plate if the lamp is illegible.

Voltage, wattage and base checked
GZ6.35 or G6.35, 12 V or 15 V, with or without reflector: on a technical lamp, one detail changes everything. We compare every specification before suggesting a lamp.

Frequently asked questions from laboratories
My lamp is no longer made: what can I do?
Send us its reference or a photo. We often still have the old OSRAM or Philips reference in stock; otherwise we offer a compatible equivalent and tell you what differs.
How do I identify my Xenophot lamp?
The five-digit number printed on the glass (64634, 64653, 64655…) identifies the lamp. Also note the voltage and wattage (15V 150W, 24V 250W…): with these two details we can find the right reference.
Do you accept administrative purchase orders?
Yes, from public institutions, universities and research organisations. Ask us for a quote or place your order stating your institution.
Do you deliver outside France?
Yes, we ship throughout Europe. Several European universities already order their lamps from us.
