The GE CMH-TC 70 W discharge lamp (compact) is a GE ConstantColor ceramic metal-halide lamp with stable colour and high colour rendering. It emits warm white light at 3,000 K (IRC 90) and about 6,050 lumens, with excellent colour stability.

It runs on suitable discharge control gear (ballast + ignitor) matched exactly to its wattage (70 W) and type: it never connects directly to the mains. Its outer envelope screens UV (UVC). Warm-up takes 2–3 min; after switch-off, let it cool for a few minutes before restrike.

How long to full light?
