This PHILIPS MASTER LEDspot ExpertColor 10.8-50W 930 AR111 is a direct replacement for the OSRAM Halospot 111 41835 SP 12V 50W halogen: same 111 mm AR111 format, same G53 base, same 12 V supply. Take out the old lamp, fit the LED, and your lighting uses 78% less electricity.
A narrow 9° beam
The original halogen is a very narrow spot. The PHILIPS LED keeps that character with a 9° beam angle: a concentrated beam that picks out an object, a shop window, a painting or a restaurant table. The circle of light is somewhat wider than with the 6° halogen.

On your existing 12 V transformer
No rewiring: the LED runs at 12 V on the existing transformer. One precaution: an older electronic halogen transformer often needs a minimum load of 20 to 35 VA. A single 10.8 W lamp may not reach it and can flicker. If so, connect several lamps to the same transformer or switch to an LED-compatible transformer. Call us and we will check it with you.
