The OSRAM POWERSTAR HQI-TS 150W/D Excellence lamp (double-ended tubular) is a OSRAM Powerstar quartz metal-halide high-intensity discharge lamp. It emits daylight light at 5,200 K (CRI 91) and about 12,000 lumens, with excellent stability over time.

It runs on matching control gear (Matching ballast + ignitor) rated exactly for its wattage (150 W) and type: it never connects directly to the mains. Warm-up takes 2–3 min; after switch-off, let it cool for a few minutes before restrike.
