The PHILIPS PAR38 100 W reflector bulb is a pressed hard-glass incandescent lamp at extra-low 12 V, with an E27 base. Its PAR38 reflector (Ø122 mm) concentrates the light into a 30° flood beam, warm white 2700 K with perfect colour rendering (CRI 100).
Its sealed hard glass withstands the weather: it suits sheltered outdoor lighting (landscape, façades, signs). Running at 12 V, it needs a 12 V transformer of at least 105 W and does not connect directly to 230 V mains.

What voltage does it run on?
12 V (extra-low voltage). It requires a 12 V transformer of at least 105 W. Never connect it directly to 230 V mains.
Can it be used outdoors?
Yes. Its sealed pressed hard glass is weather-resistant: it suits sheltered outdoor locations (garden, façade, covered terrace) in a suitable fitting.
What does the 30° beam mean?
It is a medium "flood" beam: it lights a fairly wide area while keeping direction, ideal for highlighting façades, borders or signs.
How is it installed?
E27 base: screw it in with the fitting switched off, in a PAR38 holder. Hard glass: bare-hand handling is fine; let it cool before removing.
