The E14 25 W tubular bulb is a small-format incandescent lamp: a tungsten filament in an envelope measuring just Ø 26 × 57 mm, on an E14 screw cap. It is the lamp for appliances where space runs out — cooker hood, sewing machine, refrigerated display case, illuminated sign, night light — wherever a conventionally shaped bulb simply will not fit.

Can I replace it with an LED?
Often yes, provided you find an E14 model of the same size. But in a salt lamp, a lava lamp or an incubator, no: those devices need the filament's heat to work, and an LED leaves them inert.
Clear or frosted glass?
Clear shows the filament: bright light, defined shadows, decorative effect. Frosted diffuses: soft light, no glare. At equal wattage both consume the same — only the appearance changes.
Is it dimmer-compatible?
