An aluminium profile for a neat, durable LED strip installation

This Modee aluminium profile, 2.02 m long, houses an LED strip and does three things for it. It gives it a straight support, where a strip stuck straight onto the wall ends up buckling. It draws the heat away from the LEDs, which extends their service life. And it makes the installation presentable: the strip disappears, leaving only a line of light.

Installation

It can be cut to the required length with a hacksaw and fixes under a unit, along a cornice, in an alcove or on a worktop. The strip sticks to the bottom of the channel.
