LED power supply 12 V, 60 W, for strips and low-voltage fittings

This Modee UTS12 series power supply converts 230 V mains into stabilised 12 V DC, up to 60 W (5 A). It is the heart of a 12 V LED strip installation: stable, flicker-free light depends on it.

Sizing it correctly

To last, a power supply should not run at full load all the time: we recommend not exceeding 80% of its power, that is about 48 W of strips. With a 9.6 W/m strip, that comes to a little over 5 metres.

Installation

It fits in an enclosure, a false ceiling, a piece of furniture or behind a cornice. It accepts an input voltage of 88-264 V. Rated IP20, it should be placed away from moisture, in a ventilated spot. The connection on the 230 V side must be made with the power off.
