This Modee E27 LED bulb, 8.8 W (806 lumens, the equivalent of a 60 W incandescent bulb), has a built-in light sensor: it switches on as daylight fades and off at sunrise, with no clock or timer. Screw it into an entrance, porch or gate fitting, leave the switch on, and forget about it.
What kind of light?
Neutral white 4000 K gives a crisp light, neither yellow nor bluish: the most versatile tone, at home in a kitchen, an office, a hallway or a corridor.
Good to know
The sensor must be able to detect daylight: avoid opaque or enclosed fittings, which would leave it switched on permanently. The bulb itself is rated IP20: it must be protected from rain by its fitting.
