T8 LED tube, 1500 mm: the successor to the 58 W fluorescent tube

This Modee T8 LED tube, 1500 mm long, gives 3,300 lumens for 22 W, where a fluorescent tube of the same length used 58. It lights instantly, with no flicker or warm-up time, even in a cold room.

Mounting

It runs directly on 230 V. In a batten designed for LED tubes, it fits as it is. In an old fluorescent batten, the ballast and the starter must be removed from the circuit: a simple modification, best left to an electrician.

What kind of light?

Neutral white 4000 K gives a crisp light, neither yellow nor bluish: the most versatile tone, the standard for offices, shops and workshops.

Where to use it?
