T8 LED tube, 600 mm: the successor to the 18 W fluorescent tube

This Modee T8 LED tube, 600 mm long, gives 1,350 lumens for 9 W, where a fluorescent tube of the same length used 18. It lights instantly, with no flicker or warm-up time, even in a cold room.

Mounting

It runs directly on 230 V. In a batten designed for LED tubes, it fits as it is. In an old fluorescent batten, the ballast and the starter must be removed from the circuit: a simple modification, best left to an electrician.

What kind of light?

Cool white 6000 K is close to daylight under a clear sky: a bright light that brings out detail, useful where precision matters: workshop, warehouse, inspection area.
