A solar wall light for a fence, wall or terrace
This Modee solar LED wall light screws onto a wall, a post, a fence panel or a railing. It marks out a fence, picks out a terrace or signals an entrance, where running electricity would make no sense.
How it works
No cable to run, no socket to provide: the solar panel recharges its battery during the day, and the wall light switches on by itself at nightfall. The battery is a rechargeable AAA Ni-MH cell, included: it is easy to replace once it wears out.
What kind of light?
Its cool white light, crisp and clearly visible from a distance, plainly marks a path or the edge of a flower bed.
Positioning
Choose a well-exposed spot, with no shadow falling on the panel. On grey days the light lasts less long than in summer. Protected against rain and splashing water (IP44), it can stay outdoors all season. A switch lets you turn it off, for winter storage for example.
