A solar wall light with sensor: 50 lumens with no electrician
This Modee solar LED wall light fixes to the wall with a few screws, where no power line reaches. As soon as someone approaches, it comes on at 50 lumens: enough to light a front door, a garden gate, an outdoor staircase or a bicycle store, then it switches off to save the battery.
How it works
The solar panel recharges its lithium battery during the day. At night, the motion sensor controls the switching: the stored energy is only used when it is needed. The battery is a lithium cell in 14500 format, included.
Positioning
For good runtime, place the panel in full sun, free of any shade. In winter or under an overcast sky the lighting time is shorter: this is normal. IP44 protection against rain.
