A solar wall light with motion sensor, no wiring
This Modee solar LED wall light fixes to the wall with a few screws, where no power line reaches. As soon as someone approaches, it comes on: enough to light a front door, a garden gate, an outdoor staircase or a bicycle store, then it switches off to save the battery. As for style, it takes the form of a wall lantern.
How it works
The solar panel recharges its lithium battery during the day. At night, the motion sensor controls the switching: the stored energy is only used when it is needed. The battery is a lithium cell in 18650 format, included.
Positioning
Choose a well-exposed spot, with no shadow falling on the panel. On grey days the light lasts less long than in summer. IP44 protection against rain.
