A solar wall light with a lantern hanging from a bracket

This Modee solar LED wall light, with a lantern hanging from a bracket, screws onto a wall, a post, a fence panel or a railing. It marks out a fence, picks out a terrace or signals an entrance, where running electricity would make no sense. It gives 70 lumens: soft, continuous marker lighting.

How it works

It needs no socket and no wiring. By day its solar panel recharges its lithium battery; in the evening it switches on by itself as the light fades. The lithium-ion battery is built into the unit.

What kind of light?

Its warm white light, close to that of a candle or a lantern, creates a soft mood without spoiling the look of the garden.

Positioning

Choose a well-exposed spot, with no shadow falling on the panel. On grey days the light lasts less long than in summer. Protected against rain and splashing water (IP44), it can stay outdoors all season. A switch lets you turn it off, for winter storage for example.
