Product Details

A flame-effect solar torch

This Modee solar LED light stands 36 cm tall, stake included. Its light flickers like a real flame: planted in twos or threes along a path or around a terrace, these torches give the illusion of a torchlit way, with no fire or smoke.

How it works

It needs no socket and no wiring. By day its solar panel recharges the battery; in the evening it switches on by itself as the light fades. The battery is a rechargeable AAA Ni-MH cell, included: it is easy to replace once it wears out.

What kind of light?

Its amber glow imitates a small flame: a lively, very warm light.

Positioning

Choose a well-exposed spot, with no shadow falling on the panel. On grey days the light lasts less long than in summer. Protected against rain and splashing water (IP44), it can stay outdoors all season. A switch lets you turn it off, for winter storage for example.
