A solar stake light for paths and flower beds

This Modee solar LED light stands 42 cm tall, stake included. It pushes into a lawn, a flower bed or a planter in seconds. Set at regular intervals, several stake lights mark out a path, edge a terrace or highlight a step. Its body combines stainless steel and plastic.

How it works

It needs no socket and no wiring. By day its solar panel recharges the battery; in the evening it switches on by itself as the light fades. The battery is a rechargeable AAA Ni-MH cell, included: it is easy to replace once it wears out.

What kind of light?

Its cool white light, crisp and clearly visible from a distance, plainly marks a path or the edge of a flower bed.

Positioning

Choose a well-exposed spot, with no shadow falling on the panel. On grey days the light lasts less long than in summer. Protected against rain and splashing water (IP44), it can stay outdoors all season. A switch lets you turn it off, for winter storage for example.
