A solar floodlight with sensor: 1,500 lumens with no electrician
This Modee solar LED floodlight fixes to the wall with a few screws, where no power line reaches. As soon as someone approaches, it comes on at 1,500 lumens: enough to light a path, a yard, a garage entrance or a garden shed, then it switches off to save the battery.
How it works
The solar panel recharges its lithium battery during the day. At night, the motion sensor controls the switching: the stored energy is only used when it is needed. The battery is a lithium cell in 18650 format, included.
Positioning
For good runtime, place the panel in full sun, free of any shade. In winter or under an overcast sky the lighting time is shorter: this is normal. IP44 protection against rain.
