The GE CMH-TC 35 W discharge lamp (compact) is a GE ConstantColor ceramic metal-halide lamp with stable colour and high colour rendering. It emits cool white light at 4,200 K (IRC 90) and about 3,050 lumens, with excellent colour stability.
It runs on suitable discharge control gear (ballast + ignitor) matched exactly to its wattage (35 W) and type: it never connects directly to the mains. Its outer envelope screens UV (UVC). Warm-up takes 2–3 min; after switch-off, let it cool for a few minutes before restrike.
