Lighting a worktop with no cast shadow

Fixed under a wall unit, this Modee LED batten, 55.6 cm long (8 W, 750 lumens), lights the worktop just below, where the ceiling light casts a shadow as soon as you lean forward. It is also useful in a dressing room, or above a workbench or a desk.

Settings

Three shades of white and a built-in dimmer: a bright light for cooking, a softer one to leave on as a night light in the evening.

Installation

Very flat, it screws or clips under the unit and stays out of sight when you are standing. Rated IP20, it is for indoor use only, in a dry room.
